Keeping Peter is key

PETER CROUCH deserves a new contract at Stoke. At 36 he is still proving his worth, with his three goals this season earning his side four points. The header against Leicester showed his hunger and desire to get Stoke back into the game. He is exactly the sort of player Mark Hughes needs in his dressing room.

Crouchy has been a supersub of late but it would not surprise me if he forces himself into the starting XI at Brighton in a fortnight.
