CLAUDE MAKELELE

-

has quit as Swansea’s assistant coach to take charge of Belgian club KAS Eupen.

Swansea manager Paul Clement appointed the former Chelsea midfielder in January, having previously worked alongside him at Paris Saint-Germain.

Makelele takes over at a side who are bottom of Belgium’s top flight, having won two out of 14 games.

His departure is a blow to Clement, whose Swansea side are in the relegation zone after five defeats in six games.
