Corbyn’s City friends

HOW quickly banks have fallen back into their old disreputable ways. In their hour of need, taxpayers bailed them out to the tune of tens of billions.

Yet now they greet the first modest rise in interest rates for ten years by instantly increasing already sky-high charges to credit card borrowers, while dragging their heels over passing on any benefit to savers.

Doesn’t the City often seem determined to tarnish the good name of capitalism – and advance Mr Corbyn’s calamitous cause?
