PLAYWRIGHT Lucy Prebble — who also created TV’s Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, starring Billie Piper (pictured with Lucy) — says sexual harassment is prevalent in the theatre industry.

‘After my first play opened, when I was 22, I was approached by a much older legend of new writing in the theatre. The man had a “reputation” and invited me for dinner,’ she has said.

Prebble declined that invitation — and another for drinks. ‘But I was not commissioned,’ she revealed. The 36-year-old, who went on to write hit drama Enron, did not name the man.
