GOMEZ DEBUT WOULD NET CHARLTON £250k

-

CHARLTON will net a £250,000 windfall once Joe Gomez makes his full England debut,

Sportsmail can reveal. The Liverpool defender is part of Gareth Southgate’s senior squad for the first time, for the games against Germany and Brazil. The Anfield club paid £3.5million to sign Gomez from Charlton in 2015 in a deal that was viewed as a major coup for one of the country’s brightest young talents. And the deal included the extra payment for playing at international level. Gomez has been a regular at right back for Liverpool this season in the absence of the injured Nathaniel Clyne.
