Out of the mouths of babes

DURING the building of an extension to her house, the owner’s daughter, aged six, spent every minute she could outside each day ‘helping’ the builders, even sharing tea and lunch breaks with them. At breakfast one day, the mother, highly amused at her daughter’s keenness to be working with the builders, asked: ‘Are you going to get the job finished this week?’ The girl, who may have been in the company of the builders a little too long, answered: ‘we will if we have enough ****ing bricks!’
