LAST Christmas Dele Alli scored seven goals in four matches between December 18 and January 4 to lift Tottenham from fifth to second in the Premier League. That run began with a goal against Burnley, and seventh-placed Spurs could do with Alli (left, with Harry Kane) scoring at Turf Moor today. His boss Mauricio Pochettino admits the 21-year-old is on a poor run, but stresses that what he needs is support. Pochettino said: ‘It’s so important now to give him our trust, to push him to try to improve. And not only for Tottenham, at the end of the season it’s the World Cup.’
