Rogue landlords

LANDLORDS could be fined up to £30,000 for letting out unsafe or shoddy properties, under measures being drawn up to clean up the rental market. The Government plans to stop landlords with serious convictions from renting out properties. They will also need a licence to rent out homes with five or more people, unless they are a family.
