WALLIAMS HOSTED LAST YEAR, TOO

DAVID Walliams last night said he was ‘absolutely appalled’ by the reports of harassment – as it was claimed he has attended the event three times.

The comedian, left, insisted he did not see any sexual misconduct at this year’s dinner, which he hosted. He said he had withdrawn the auction prize he offered – naming a character in his next book – and gave his fee to a charity. Walliams, 46, tweeted: ‘I was there in a strictly professional capacity … left immediately after I had finished my presenting … I did not witness any of the kind of behaviour that allegedly occurred and am absolutely appalled by the reports.’

His spokesman did not respond to requests for comment about his previous attendance at the event.
