My old china: Jemima has mates painted on plates

HeIReSS Jemima khan might be unlucky in love, but she won’t be lost for friends.

When the ex-wife of Imran khan turned 44 last week, she received hand-painted crockery depicting her pals in various milieux. She posted pictures online of the eliza Hopewell plates, worth £80 a piece, including one of herself in a £1,800 Victoria Beckham red dress with her dog, Brian, and one of late critic A. A. Gill in the clouds looking down on his wife, Nicola Formby, and their children.

‘Best birthday present ever. Now I can have dinner with all my favourite people every single night,’ Jemima (right) gushed. Including herself, of course . . .
