Same as the men?

HoW curious that female staff at Tesco, who are taking the company to court for pay equality with male staff, don’t apply for the men’s jobs.

Could it be because these are in the warehouse, are more physically demanding and dangerous, and don’t provide the socially valued interaction with customers?

Rather than asking for equal pay for a different job description, why don’t they change their work? Is it about equality of pay regardless of the work involved and nothing to do with equality of the sexes? TONY EDWARDS, Ockham, Surrey.
