Powell tells fans: Chill out!

DARYL POWELL urged Castleford fans to lower their expectations after his side’s 13-12 home win against Widnes. Castleford lost last season’s Super League Grand Final after winning the League Leaders’ shield at a canter. ‘The whole place is a bit nervous about us and that doesn’t help,’ said Powell. ‘I think everybody expects us to be winning every week and this is a different journey, a different season. ‘We’ve just got to chill out. It’s not going to be like it was last year. ‘I’d like to think our speccies (fans) will relax a bit and give us a little bit of time.’
