Burnley slump may be felt next season

THIS has been a remarkable season for Burnley. With 36 points, any lingering threat of relegation has been all but banished but if they do not arrest their recent slide I fear for them next season.

West Brom lost seven of their final nine games last season after breaking the 40-point barrier. That slump continued into this campaign, Tony Pulis lost his job and West Brom are rock bottom.

Burnley have failed to win their last 10 league games. Sean Dyche has done an excellent job but it is vital that he finds a way to end this dire run.
