made her name as an actress and model, Kiera Chaplin is to capitalise on her heritage by opening a hotel inspired by her celebrated grandfather, Charlie. ‘I’m creating a Chaplin Hotel in Florida, which I’m really excited about,’ Kiera, 35, tells me at the Malan Breton show at London Fashion Week, where she was strutting her stuff. ‘Everyone loved my grandfather so, hopefully, it will do well. I was inspired by Trump Tower. I saw that and thought: “Why not a Chaplin Hotel?” I hope it will be the first of many.’
