ALTERED IMAGES: The Epic Years (Cherry Red)

-

ALTERED Images make an unlikely choice for a box set, but this four-disc collection is a fascinating snapshot of Eighties music. The band’s three albums, reprised here with bonus tracks, chart the era’s musical tide perfectly. But 1983’s Bite, with its slick disco influences, was their masterpiece.
