MOBY: Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt (Little Idiot)

THIS is billed as a return to the electronic blues of Moby’s 1999 album Play, but it’s a patchy affair. The Ceremony Of Innocence is one of several dreary piano and synth pieces — but there are flashes of inspiration on the hymn-like This Wild Darkness and funky Like A Motherless Child.
