SHARES in the video analytics company Big Sofa hit the roof following a £3m investment by the market research giant Ipsos.

Aim-listed Big Sofa gives firms insights into how people use and view their products, by filming them.

Ipsos’s investment will be used to boost Big Sofa’s sales and marketing divisions, particularly in the US. The money will also help its video analytics technology.

The stock soared 19.6pc, or 2.5p, to 15.25p.
