Sir Michael Caine

says he will not work with Woody Allen again if sex abuse allegations against him turn out to be true.

Caine introduced Allen to his future partner Mia Farrow in 1979 and also won his first Oscar for his role in Allen’s 1986 film Hannah and Her Sisters.

Allen and Farrow split up in 1992 after she learnt of his affair with her adopted daughter Soon-Yi and it was later alleged he had molested their seven- year- old adopted daughter Dylan.

‘Would i work with Woody Allen again?’ says Sir Michael, 84.

‘i see that he’s been accused of child abuse. if that is true, i wouldn’t. No.

‘But i mean, i read it — but there doesn’t seem to be any trials or anything. For me, the greatest crime in the world is child abuse.’
