just stephen Hawking’s mind that was extraordinary, so was his body. Diagnosed with motor neurone disease at 21, doctors gave him just two years to live. Quite how he survived to 76 has baffled doctors. For me, it’s evidence we don’t know it all. Doctors don’t always like to admit it, but medicine is an inexact science and there is still so much to discover. For me, it’s this that makes it so fascinating. and that’s something I’m sure Professor Hawking would understand.
