Exposed, the burly maths teacher who moonlights as a porn star
TO maths pupils at his East Sussex school, he was Mr Sherwood. But to fans across the internet, he was porn star Aaron Cage. The form tutor’s double life has been exposed after pupils discovered he appeared in explicit films and photoshoots for a company which produces ‘all-male erotica’. Scott Sherwood, 50, starred in productions such as Gruff Stuff and Manpower, and even features as Mr January in the US firm’s 2018 calendar. Schoolchildren started sharing explicit images of him after discovering lurid videos posted on YouTube. Commenting on footage of an explicit interview with Mr Cage’, one pupil wrote: ‘ ‘That guy is my maths teacher, his real name is Scott Sherwood. I’m scared.’ Mr Sherwood, who is from Australia, works at Peacehaven Community School, a mixed secondary in East Sussex. He has reportedly not been teaching since the allegations surfaced, and one mother with children at the school said pupils were threatened with detention for discussing the controversy. ‘My daughter is in Year Ten and another child found things online and put them on the computer for everyone to see,’ she said. ‘My son is in Year Seven and found out about it in the lunch hall while all the children were talking about it.’ A mother picking up her son at the school said: ‘I think it’s disgusting. It makes you wonder what type of checks the school does. My partner and I are angry that the school hasn’t really said anything. All we’ve been told is he has been removed as a matter of safeguarding. I don’t want to say anything else until we’ve had a proper explanation from the school.’ Mr Sherwood is a mentor and form tutor for Year Ten students at the 850-pupil school. He started as a part-time supply teacher, moving into a full-time role in 2017. He became a porn model eight years ago, alongside his teaching work. Mr Sherwood flew to the US to appear in films for Colt Studio Group, which specialises in ‘allmale erotica’ and gay porn. Its website lists the teacher’s sexual preferences as well as his height, 6ft 2in, and weight, 17st 2lb. In a recent video interview Mr Sherwood, who lives with his partner in a £350,000 bungalow in Seaford, said porn should not be regarded as work. He said his most embarrassing moment on set was getting carried away with his co- star before the cameras started rolling. In the clip, he joked about what his mother would think if she discovered his porn career. ‘My mum’s English,’ he said. ‘I’m still waiting for the “birds and bees” conversation. Don’t worry, Mum, I’ve worked it out. I think she’d be shocked.’ In another video, filmed at an event called XXX: Live at Hustlaball at which Mr Sherwood performed, he said becoming a Colt model was ‘a dream come true’. He added that he had worked on his body ‘for years’ and ‘it was great to get some reward’. He said that evening’s performance would involve ‘a bit of dancing, showing off the body’ and ‘some leather’. Neither Peacehaven Community School’s headteacher, Austen Hindman, nor Mr Sherwood responded to requests for comment.
