Sir Rod son’s sad haul of plastic from dad’s beach

SIR Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster has enlisted their youngest son Aiden, 6, to rid the beach at their Florida home of plastic.

‘I used to collect shells on the beach and now it’s plastics,’ lamented Penny on social media, alongside this image of Aiden with his haul of rubbish.

‘Six months ago we had an incredible encounter with an endangered sea turtle emerging from the water to lay her eggs. It dawned on Rod and me that because we buy a coffee each day, we are adding to the plastic problem.’
