DEAL SLUMP

Banker Goldman Sachs has slipped down the dealmaking league table in the City. The US behemoth was top of the tree for mergers and acquisitions in the first three months of 2017 but has now slipped to 12th place. Morgan Stanley was top after advising on ten deals worth £113bn.
