- By KIERAN GILL

MOHAMED SALAH last night led his Liverpool team-mates in expressing shock at the Premier League’s decision to award Harry Kane a disputed goal and boost his Golden Boot chances. the tottenham striker claimed he got a touch to a cross by Christian Eriksen against stoke on saturday and spurs’s appeal to have it added to his tally was successful. It leaves Kane on 25 for the season and only four goals behind salah, who tweeted: ‘Wooooooow really?’ His Liverpool team-mates Virgil van Dijk, simon Mignolet, Georginio Wijnaldum and trent Alexander-Arnold also reacted with surprise. Kane had pleaded with the Premier League by saying: ‘I swear on my daughter’s life that I touched the ball,’ and that was taken into account by the goal accreditation appeals panel, who decided the ball brushed Kane’s shoulder on its way past Jack Butland. A statement from the Premier League said: ‘After taking the player’s testimony into account and reviewing the match footage, a three-person panel agreed that the final touch on the ball belonged to Kane.’ the 24-year-old is aiming to become the first player since thierry Henry to be the Premier League’s top scorer for three straight seasons.
