Phantom Brexodus
JUST left Frankfurt. Great meetings, great weather, really enjoyed it. Good, because I’ll be spending a lot more time there. So wrote sneering Remoaner and Goldman Sachs boss Lloyd Blankfein on Twitter last year.
But who’s this admitting – in a screeching U-turn – that the mass exodus of bankers to other European cities has failed to materialise? The very same Mr Blankfein.
So the Mail asks: If the boss of this utterly amoral investment bank – which campaigned for the euro, funnelled £ 500,000 to Project Fear and helped cause the 2008 financial crash – did decide to live in Germany (fat chance!), would anyone really miss him?
