Israeli defence firm’s UK listing

-

ISRAELI defence and security company Avnon Group plans an IPO valued at up to £200m, according to reports.

The Tel Aviv-based firm, whose products include stun guns and anti-drone technology, is working with advisers Stifel and has a junior AIM market launch in mind.

One of Avnon’s subsidiaries, Tar Ideal Concepts, was kicked out of a London arms fair in 2005 due to brochures advertising restricted electroshock batons and leg irons.

The Avnon Group runs a security trade show in Israel, called Isdef.

Founder Tomer Avnon said last year: ‘Israeli knowhow and innovation, along with extensive experience and the lessons learnt from the battlefield, has resulted in making Israel’s knowledge and defence produce a well-known brand.’
