SHAKESPEARE — a correction. prior to the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, richard iii had ordered a battalion of hard-hitting Vikings to assist with his campaign. Sadly, on the day, they failed to arrive. Consequently, contrary to popular belief, richard’s final cry was: ‘A norse, a norse, my kingdom for a norse!’
