Amal turns on style for birthday boy George
AS THEY were celebrating his birthday, perhaps it’s George Clooney who should have been the centre of attention.
But instead, all eyes were on his wife Amal as she stepped out of a New York restaurant wearing a navy satin play suit with a waist belt and strappy heels.
The 40-year-old barrister had been for dinner with her husband as the actor marked his 7th birthday.
The couple were spotted holding hands as they left Italian restaurant Locanda Verde in New York on Sunday evening, with Clooney’s navy suit and shirt matching his wife’s outfit.
Mrs Clooney showcased her style credentials again last night as she was cochairman of the 72nd Met Gala – one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar – alongside Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
The Clooneys, who live in Berkshire, married in Venice in 2014. They had twins Ella and Alexander in June last year.
