Save our countryside

i sHare the concerns that we are concreting over our countryside (Letters). in the Tendring peninsula, 800 homes are being built between Frinton-on-sea, Walton, Kirby Cross and Kirby-le-soken.

This will kill the tourist trade to the beautiful beaches as visitors will be put off by the congested country roads.

Local farms that thrived on growing broad beans and sugar beet have been sold to the housing developers.
