GIANT wing Joe Cokanasiga will become one of the best-paid young players in the game when he is unveiled at Bath this week. The 20-year-old Fiji-born England prospect has left London Irish and agreed a three-year contract at The Rec, which will be announced in the coming days. And Cokanasiga is in for a bumper payday, with the 6ft 3in, 17st 9lb flyer likely to earn in the region of £750,000 over three years. If he establishes himself as an England regular he could force his earnings towards seven figures by the age of 23, as the national side pays £23,000 per Test. The sums reflect the fact that Cokanasiga is one of the hottest properties in the English game and has an outside chance of being selected in Eddie Jones’ squad tomorrow for next month’s trip to South Africa. Cokanasiga went on England’s Argentina tour last summer but did not feature in the Test side. He then enjoyed a breakthrough season with his boyhood club, scoring four tries in 16 matches in his first year of Premiership rugby.
