TACKLE WEEDS
FOLLOWING such a late spring, weeds are growing prolifically. Nettles have become forests, dandelions have quadrupled and even annual weeds are twice as big as usual.
Annuals must be pulled up before they set seed. With perennial weeds, the roots can be difficult to dig out.
Glyphosate weed killer works well as a spot treatment. Apply on a warm, dry day and the plants should perish in a few weeks.
