WILKINS’ WIDOW WILL PRESENT THE TROPHY

-

JOSE MOURINHO says it will be a ‘beautiful moment’ when Ray Wilkins’ widow Jackie presents the FA Cup to one of his old clubs today. Wilkins, the former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder, died at the age of 61 last month and banners honouring him will be displayed at Wembley. ‘I think it will be a very emotional moment for Mrs Wilkins and for all the family,’ said the United manager. ‘I believe Ray will be looking at it and will be himself enjoying it. I know how much he was loved at Chelsea and how much he was loved at Manchester United. ‘It is a coincidence that the two clubs are playing the final but it will be a moment that will unite the stadium, the fans of both colours and, I think, it will be a beautiful moment.’
