Kirstie’s dad finds a new gal

TELEVISION presenter Kirstie Allsopp’s father, Lord Hindlip, was devastated when his wife, Fiona, died in 2014 after a 25-year battle with breast cancer.

So it’s cheering to hear the former Christie’s chairman has found love again at the age of 77.

‘Charles is going out with a wonderful woman who also lost her spouse to cancer,’ one of their friends tells me.

‘They are very much in love. She’s very similar to Fiona in many ways and has been introduced to his children.’

Lord Hindlip, who sold 80 of Princess Diana’s dresses in a charity auction two months before her death, declines to name his new girlfriend.

The friend adds: ‘They are both very discreet.’
