Tuning out
I HAVE listened to Radio 2’s Drivetime since the Johnnie Walker days, but have finally given up on it. The last time I tuned in, I recognised five
tracks in three hours. I used to listen to Radio 2 all day, every day, but due to the new playlists that have been introduced into all the shows, I have become selective and listen less and less.
Many of my friends have abandoned the station altogether. It has become Radio 1 Mark II. Could the BBC producers please tell us which market and age group they are aiming at?
