Goat the size of a pony

RONNIE, the Anglo Nubian goat, is the size of a Shetland pony. ‘They’re a large breed but he’s a particular giant,’ says Di, ‘and that’s how he ended up here — his elderly owner couldn’t cope with the size of him and was going to have him shot.’ So she did a 135-mile round trip to save him. ‘I knew he was big but even so it was a bit of a shock when I saw him.’
