SLEEVE SPONSOR LOSES INTEREST IN AILING ANDY
ANDY MURRAY’S injury troubles appear to be costing him after one of his major sponsors decided not to renew his contract. Sleeve sponsor Aberdeen Standard Investments has parted ways with the former world No 1, who has missed the past four grand slams. Murray confirmed his withdrawal on the eve of Wimbledon because of his hip issues but could still turn up at SW19 . . . as a pundit for the BBC. An ASI spokesperson said: ‘Our fouryear partnership with Andy Murray has now come to a natural end.’
