CHELSEA CLOSE TO SARRI AND JORGINHO DEAL

CHELSEA are talking to Napoli over a £50million deal for midfielder Jorginho despite a rival bid from Manchester City. Blues owner Roman Abramovich met Napoli counterpart Aurelio de Laurentiis to discuss midfielder Jorginho and Maurizio Sarri’s appointment as Chelsea coach. De Laurentiis said Jorginho wanted to join Chelsea rather than City. LIVERPOOL are in talks with Stoke for winger Xherdan Shaqiri. The Swiss international, on holiday after playing at the World Cup, has a £13.5m release clause and Stoke are resigned to losing him after being relegated from the Premier League. HARD-UP AC Milan have been taken over by a US-based hedge fund after former owner Li Yonghong missed a payment on a £300m loan. New owners Elliott Management promise to inject £45m into Milan, who were sixth in Serie A.
