PROFITS HIT

Energy supplier Innogy has posted a 10pc drop in profits to £1.3bn, blaming higher commodity prices and lower wind levels at its renewables unit. It has lost 557,000 electricity and gas clients during the first half of this year, mostly in Britain, and it now has 22.5m customers.
