Charlton staff in fight for bonuses

- By JACK GAUGHAN

Charlton athletiC are set for mutiny as staff consider legal action against owner roland Duchatelet over unpaid bonuses.

Sportsmail understands the controversial Belgian has reneged on a promise to pay 10 per cent of salaries if specific targets were met across all areas of the club.

employees are believed to have worked around the clock and targets were hit, but Duchatelet’s broken promise shattered the morale of staff, who still await news of a takeover by an australian consortium.

Crisis has besieged Charlton since Duchatelet took over in 2014.

the addicks are losing around £10million a season and cost- cutting is such that Charlton are not buying paper towels for toilets at the Valley.

Staff who leave are not replaced, while water and food are being rationed at the club’s training ground.
