Shallow? Lady V gets deep with underwater meditation...

AS SHE prepares to turn 42, former ‘It-girl’ Lady Victoria Hervey seems to be ready for a more contemplative phase of her tumultuous life. The Marquess of Bristol’s sister has shared this photograph online (above) of herself sitting calmly underwater, arms clasped around her shins. ‘Morning meditation,’ she wrote. What’s striking is that the socialite is wearing more clothes underwater than she usually favours on dry land at events such as the Golden Globes after-party, left. Perhaps next time Lady Victoria will submerge herself in vodka — the tipple with which her late father, the 6th Marquess, a thrice-married jailbird, used to toast himself each morning while saluting and proclaiming: ‘God save the Queen!’
