FOUR STEPS TO THE BIG PAYOUT

To claim the Weatherbys Hamilton Million Stradivarius has to win four major races.

LEG ONE: May — won the Yorkshire Cup at York, one of four recognised prep races.

LEG TWO: June — won the Ascot Gold Cup.

LEG THREE: August — won the Goodwood Cup. LEG FOUR: Today — bid to win the Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup. If successful, the £1m bonus will be split with 70 per cent to the owner and 30 per cent divided equally between the trainer, stable staff, breeder and jockey.
