MAGNETIC MARILYN

MARILYN MONROE and I were walking down Broadway on our way to the Actors Studio. She was wearing trousers, an old football jersey and no make-up.

After a while, I said: ‘I don’t understand it: we’ve walked three blocks and nobody’s bothered you.’

‘Want to see her?’ Marilyn said. All she did was change her posture — and within 20ft, we were mobbed. It took five cops to get us out of there.
