SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH

-

has found a surprising new habitat in which to forage and wade around.

The celebrated naturalist, 92, who is said to have a fortune of some £ 25 million, has been regularly spotted in the dank and musty climes of the bargain basement at a secondhand record shop in London’s Notting Hill.

‘Sir David practically lives in here and has been known to get down on all fours rummaging through our cardboard boxes and shelves to dig out bargains,’ says a source at the Music & video Exchange.

‘He is completely mad for classical music — bach cantatas, if you must know.’ Prices in the basement start at 10p and rarely exceed £5.
