Life flows more easily with a lift

Great new options to avoid strain

-

A STAIRLIFT is less expensive than you’d think — and very cheap to operate, at less than 20p a day.

Most stairs can take one, and it will fold when not in use to leave walking space available.

The rail attaches to support feet fitted to specific treads, so there is no need to worry about whether the walls are strong enough. And as a stairlift runs on a rechargeable battery, fed by a trickle charge, there is no risk of being left stranded half way up in a power cut.

An alternative is a home lift, which can carry two or three people and a wheelchair, if required. A lift also takes very little power to run, plugging into a standard socket that drives an electric motor. Choose from a range of cabin sizes and wheelchair or seating configurations, whether fixed, tip-up, perch or heavy duty.

A lift is usually fitted and ready to use within six weeks of order, installed by a team trained to minimise disruption in the home. The lift can be fitted close to radiators or windows, and the surface of the aperture matched to your upstairs flooring. Even uneven surfaces can be coped with.

Installation take two days and installers will make sure you are fully proficient in operating your new lift before handing it over.
