A Supreme memory lapse
WHEN asked how she was ‘so sure’ it was Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh who attempted to rape her decades ago, Dr Christine Ford replied: ‘The level of norepinephrine and the epinephrine in the brain that sort of, you know, encodes memories into the hippocampus so the trauma experience is locked in there.’
Given that Ford can’t remember where or when the attack took place, and Kavanaugh and the four other people she alleges were present have all sworn under oath they were not there, mightn’t her ‘ hippocampus’ be a little rusty after 37 years?
