HAPPY TYSON IS BEARING UP WELL
I AM sure that many readers will recall the article a year ago about Tyson the brown bear, who for 16 years had been used for dog baiting in Ukraine (Mail). He was rescued by the charity Four Paws International. On a recent trip to Lviv, I visited the sanctuary where he lives with eight other rescued bears. I am delighted to say Tyson is thriving. Very often, you donate to a charity in good faith, but not knowing exactly how your money will be spent. It was heartening to visit this wonderful oasis of calm, which is just what these poor, mistreated, majestic animals deserve.
