RUBINSTEIN RED IS OH-SO ELEGANT

This bright- red, prewar lipstick by helena Rubinstein is one of my absolute favourites, simply because it is so beautiful. it sums up the elegance of the Thirties.

it’s an exquisite art Deco design — a slim, silver- toned case with a sophisticated black background. it even still contains the original lipstick, a gorgeous shade called Red Poppy.

i bought this from a dealer in London’s Grays antiques market. PAID: £150
