Eddie’s a fantastic beast of fashion

HE LOOKED like a chequerboard, but then this was the latest fashion outing for actor Eddie Redmayne as the Oscar winner teamed up with supermodel Naomi Campbell to co-host a British Vogue & Tiffany Bafta after-party.

The Fantastic Beasts star, 37, who sported a £2,595 Alexander McQueen black and white tailored jacket and black trousers, recently talked of his journey to becoming a fashionista.

‘I’ve not always been a well-dressed person,’ he said.’ A lot of it came down to the Burberry campaign I did. I went for a fitting and the clothes were so tightly tailored I was like “whoa!”.

‘But when I saw the photos I realised the suit looked so much better, which changed my take on tailoring.’

No competition for Naomi, 48, though, who was dressed in a sheer Alexander McQueen gown.
