JOSEPH PRAISE FOR MATE MINGS OVER SOFIA ABUSE

ENGLAND centre Jonathan Joseph has paid tribute to his old school friend, Tyrone Mings, for the way he responded to being racially abused on his international football debut in Sofia on Monday night. ‘They were very professional about it and at the same time trying to stand up for what is right as well,’ Joseph said. ‘We are fortunate in the sport we are in not to see any of that stuff happen to us. You just hope things will get better for them.’
