‘She told me to fib’

MISS Heard threatened to fire an assistant unless he lied under oath after she illegally smuggled her Yorkshire terriers into Australia with Johnny Depp, the court heard. Depp’s house manager Kevin Murphy claimed Miss Heard ordered him to commit perjury when she was charged with failing to obtain certification. He told the court she ‘threatened’ him when he refused to falsely testify in court that she had been unaware she had acted illegally. Asked why he later gave a false declaration, Mr Murphy said: ‘She would have made my life miserable.’
