•WEST HAM have enquired about Wigan centre back Cedric Kipre as interest mounts in the crisis club’s players. Watford are also monitoring Kipre. Top scorer Kieffer Moore is wanted by Preston, while winger Jamal Lowe is attracting interest from Celtic, Millwall and Cardiff.

•THE start date for the 2022 Qatar World Cup has been set for November 21, with the final on December 18. There are four games a day in the group stage, with kick-offs at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm UK time.
